Starting to sound like a broken record … The market in Guelph is still climbing! Month over month the average sale price in Guelph has increased in 2020. Currently, the average sale price is sitting at $741,746 which is an 18% increase from October 2019!
I pulled some statistics from the Guelph District Real Estate Board to take a closer look at how the average sale price in Guelph and Area has changed over the last 9 years (see below). Other than the exception of 2017, we have seen a steady increase in the sale prices in Guelph- which I hope is peace of mind to our homeowners in the city.
According to statistics provided by the MLS®, home sales numbered 492 units in October 2020. This was a large increase of 26.2% from October 2019. Clearly, people are taking advantage of this hot seller’s market with a 102.3% sale price to list price ratio!
